Boulder's dining scene continues to evolve, and one of its most exciting new additions is Morso, an Italian American kitchen and bar from acclaimed Chef Hosea Rosenberg and the Little Piggy Hospitality team, the same team behind Blackbelly and Santo. Located in South Boulder, Morso combines the warmth of a classic neighborhood Italian restaurant with thoughtful cooking, the best ingredients, and a space that feels cozy and welcoming.

The inspiration behind Morso comes from the practice of creating comfort food dishes rooted in old style family traditions. Rather than reinventing the classics, the restaurant focuses on executing them exceptionally well. Housemade pastas, naturally fermented pizza dough, wood fired pizzas, hearty entrées, fresh salads, and familiar appetizers all highlight simple recipes prepared with care. Every dish reflects the philosophy that outstanding ingredients and attention to detail never go out of style. We had the privilege of dining here recently, and it was exceptional. I highly recommend you give this place a try.

At the heart of Morso is its wood fired pizza oven, turning out perfectly blistered pizzas alongside housemade pastas, flavorful sauces, shareable starters, and classic Italian desserts. The drink menu is just as inviting, featuring Italian inspired cocktails, a thoughtfully selected wine list, local beers, and non alcoholic options that pair beautifully with the food. Inside, the warm, modern dining room and lively bar create a welcoming atmosphere that's just as fitting for an easy weeknight dinner as it is for date nights, celebrations, or gathering with friends over great food and a bottle of wine.

Chef Hosea Rosenberg has built a reputation for creating restaurants that celebrate exceptional ingredients and genuine hospitality, and Morso continues that tradition with a fresh perspective on creating cuisine that is both comforting and traditional. His commitment to craftsmanship is visible throughout the entire menu, while the restaurant's approachable style makes it accessible for Boulder natives and visitors alike.
