Local Love: Louisville Street Faire 2026

For more than 25 years, Front Street has transformed into one of the most beloved summer traditions in Boulder County, bringing together live music, local food, dancing, kids activities, cold drinks, and an unmistakable sense of community. Held at the Steinbaugh Pavilion, the Street Faire is the kind of event that instantly makes you want to linger a little longer on a Friday night. Neighbors catch up over drinks, kids run around with face paint and sticky fingers, and live music fills the streets as the sun starts to set behind the Flatirons. It’s casual, welcoming, and feels like the definition of a Colorado summer evening.

You’ll see people dancing in front of the stage, families enjoying dinner from local vendors, and friends gathered in lawn chairs soaking up the warm summer evening together. Since the event is completely free to attend, it’s an easy and fun way to spend a Friday night in Louisville without needing much more than a good playlist and a few friends. The 2026 lineup features an eclectic mix of funk, Americana, blues, folk, rock, soul, and even a little “acid cow punk,” continuing the Street Faire tradition of bringing standout performers and diverse live music to downtown Louisville. Beyond the live performances, you’ll also find local food vendors, craft booths, beer gardens, family activities, and opportunities to explore historic downtown Louisville before or after the show. A few quick tips before you go: parking fills up quickly, so biking or arriving early is always a good idea. Folding chairs are welcome, but they can’t be placed under the pavilion tents, and outside alcohol is prohibited, though you can purchase drink inside. Food is allowed, but the restaurants and food inside the faire deserves attention. And lastly, due to the hot summer weather and large crowd sizes, the city recommends that our furry friends stay at home. If you’re looking for an easy summer night out this year, this is one event absolutely worth adding to your calendar.

The Street Faire runs from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. with music typically beginning around 6 p.m.
